2Is Albania safe for tourists?
Yes. Albania is one of the safest countries in the Balkans — very low violent-crime rate, generally welcoming locals, and English widely spoken in tourist areas. Normal city-travel precautions apply (petty pickpocketing in busy squares) but nothing unusual for Europe.

May-June and September-early October are the sweet spot: warm weather, open beaches, uncrowded UNESCO cities, and prices lower than peak. July-August is beach-perfect but hot and busy. October-April is quieter with mild south-coast weather but some Alps routes close.
